Pair a device
Install RelayDesk on Windows, macOS or Linux. The agent creates an outbound connection and pairs only after you approve the device in your account.
RelayDesk gives supported AI assistants a secure route to computers, servers and VMs you explicitly pair. Your files and tools stay on the machine; the AI calls RelayDesk only when the task needs that machine.

Add RelayDesk to a supported AI assistant. New integrations use getrelaydesk.space/mcp; existing reviewed compatibility endpoints remain available where required.
Your AI can inspect files, run terminal commands, search projects, read process output and troubleshoot the paired machine using RelayDesk tools.
The local agent runs under the operating system's service or task supervisor, reconnects after temporary network loss and can update itself without re-pairing.
Read, create, edit, move and search normal files available to the signed-in OS user.
Run builds, tests, CLIs and diagnostics using the toolchain already installed on the machine.
Inspect running processes, continue long-running commands and read output without restarting work unnecessarily.
Use the same model from a laptop, server or VM as long as that device is paired and online.
RelayDesk does not force every user into a special workspace folder. Normal device files are available by default, while recognized credential stores, private keys, authentication secrets, protected browser credential paths and high-risk machine operations remain separately guarded. You can also narrow local filesystem access when you want a smaller boundary.
The RelayDesk agent runs through the operating system's normal service mechanism, reconnects after temporary network interruptions and can update its runtime and verified launcher without asking you to re-pair the device. A machine that is actually powered off or disconnected from the internet cannot be reached until it comes back online.
