ChatGPT + RelayDesk

Use ChatGPT with files, terminals and projects on your own computer.

RelayDesk connects a paired device to ChatGPT through the supported plugin/custom MCP path, giving ChatGPT machine tools instead of forcing you to upload individual files or copy terminal output back and forth.

What ChatGPT can do through RelayDesk

After RelayDesk is connected and a device is online, ChatGPT can call the RelayDesk tools exposed for that machine: inspect files, edit project content, run commands, read process output, search local content and troubleshoot services.

Current ChatGPT connection path

While RelayDesk's public plugin is under review, manual/custom MCP testing uses ChatGPT's Developer mode where that feature is available to the user's plan or workspace. The public plugin path is separate: once approved and published, normal users should install RelayDesk from the Plugins Directory rather than create their own development app.

The public RelayDesk MCP address for new integrations is https://getrelaydesk.space/mcp. The older Vercel MCP origin remains online for compatibility with the already-submitted OpenAI integration.

Why use RelayDesk instead of uploading files?

Uploads are snapshots. RelayDesk works against the machine itself, so ChatGPT can see current project files, run the local toolchain, inspect the result, and keep working in the same environment.
